5 stars for the pastries. I have now had the Pain Au Chocolat, Pain Suisse and Almond Croissant. They were all good, but Pain Au Chocolat and Pain Suisse being my faves. These pastries are from Le Marais bakery. I've had many bakeries in the Bay Area and these are my current love affair. I am very happy they have their items at this creperie as it is closer to me!

Cute French restaurant in a corner of the Ferry Building with both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered two savory crepes, an iced latte, and a chai latte for a total of about $45. The crepes were quite good - light and not too heavy with fresh ingredients. The restaurant was quite crowded at noon on a Sunday with a line to order. There was no more outdoor seating so we sat inside, which was a bit cramped. Overall good choice for a light brunch or lunch, but a little pricey and crowded.

I had the crepe with apples, which was pretty good! Service was quick and ambiance was nice. They were open pretty early - much earlier than most of the other shops, so that's definitely a plus.

So after checking out the very busy farmers market at the Ferry Building, we decided to sit somewhere and get some food. Friend told me she already had an early morning snack of hard boiled eggs from the 7-11 close to her hotel, so I should get whatever that I wanted. We happened to pass by Grande Creperie which was on my "to try" list. Very busy on the particular Saturday we visited with lots of tourists. Line was a tad long and I had to wait maybe 15 minutes to order. I'm starting to appreciate those order it yourself type of kiosk in addition to in-person ordering. Maybe I'm just hungry and getting impatient. Signs of our time. Anyhoo, I got the La Marguerite crepe and an Americano. You pick up the drink first and then you can go find a seat with the order # they give you and a staff will deliver your crepe. The crepe itself is pretty substantial as it was a buckwheat crepe filled with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, greens and olive oil. My first time eating a buckwheat crepe. I ate it all by myself and it was pretty good tho I think I would want to try a sweet crepe next time. I reasoned that since it was a vegetarian crepe, it was fairly healthy and a good start to my day. Americano tastes like what it should. Ambiance is a small shop inside the ferry building with a few tables inside and some outside seatings. We prefer to sit outside as it was a nice day.

The crepes are delicious but lacked just a bit of flavor. The service was great and the crepes came out pretty fast. Would recommend but wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

Big ups to the Grande Crêperie for opening early since my friend and I were looking for a spot to have breakfast. Service was relatively quick for crêpes although I'd recommend a pastry instead if you're in a rush. Food was good. We shared but I was running out of time so gave my friend most of his half back. Would return to try the pastries.

Wife and I stopped here on our way back to the hotel after being at the pier. We are always on the look out for a crepe, especially after having the real deal in Paris! And these folks were right on the money! The staff was helpful and friendly with questions we had with the menu. Any questions we had were answered quickly and cheerfully. We opted to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather that San Francisco had to offer, but the tables inside were clean. Definitely worth the stop!!

With a variety of savory and sweet options, this is a great spot to spend some time at while checking out the ferry building. The food comes fast if you're trying to catch a ferry, and you're able to spend time in or outdoors. It was a great way to grab a bite before continuing with the day.

The croissants here are so heavenly!!!! Every single of them. Pro-Tip: be sure to mention "sweetened" when ordering matcha. The matcha was good but it had no sugar, so that was a bummer but in fairness I should've asked loll. Service is pretty smooth! They are located inside the Ferry Building.

I am a crepe fanatic. I get them every time I see a place when I travel. That said... This is a quaint cafe, by the ferry departures, nice music playing and relaxed feel. You order at the counter & it was simple, they brought my crepe out. So no confusing 'what do I do' moments. I went with simple strawberry with jam (it's a French name I can't spell) and it was delicious. Jam is fresh purée & strawberries were ripe & perfect. The crepe is not my favorite style, I love them crispy at least on edges. But they were not too thick nor too chewy. Very nice texture & held up against the sauce. I would love some cream with it but appreciated the clean taste opportunity. Recommend!
